Hi! This is Berk Güler's personal website. I'm a PhD student at the Intelligent Autonomous Systems Lab, TU Darmstadt, working on assistive teleoperation and shared autonomy for dexterous manipulation, jointly with Honda Research Institute.
Keywords: Assistive Teleoperation, Shared Autonomy, Deformable Linear Object Manipulation, Physical Human-Robot Interaction, Robot Learning
My dear Miss Glory, Robots are not people. They are mechanically more perfect than we are, they have an astounding intellectual capacity, but they have no soul.

Education
-
I am working on autonomy-infused teleoperation for dexterous object manipulation under the supervision of Prof. Jan Peters from Intelligent Autonomous Systems Group and Dr. Simon Manschitz from Honda Research Institute.
-
My research at Koc University was focused on physical human-robot interaction (pHRI), optimal control for pHRI, and robot learning algorithms. I was working at Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Çağatay Başdoğan.
-
In my Graduation Thesis, I have developed the hybrid mobile manipulator that contains rigid and soft subsystems under the supervision of Prof. Hakan Temeltaş.
